Sundowner Celebration at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Starting today at Disney's Animal Kingdom guests can enjoy the Sundowner Celebration in Africa, Asia and Discovery Island.

Animal Kingdom - Tree of Life

From now through June 30, 2012 starting after the parade will be special experiences including food and drinks. Some of the offerings include:

Discovery Island, leading the street party will be Viva Gaia Street Band and steel drum group, The Island Groove. Interactive activities will be taking place at the flamingo exhibit.

Bhangra DJ Anaan

Anandapur in Asia will feature Bhangra DJ Anaan, currently performing by Yak and Yeti Local Foods. As well as cooking and tea-brewing demonstrations, and specialty food and drinks. A henna artist will be appearing at Mandala Gifts.

Harambe Village in Africa will offer food demonstration, specialty food and drinks, and Wine-Walk and Juice tasting (I can't wait to try this!). The Tam Tam Drummers and Burudika Band will be providing lively entertainment. For those looking to shop, Mombasa Marketplace will have painting, jewelry and woodcarving artists.
