Recipe: Smokehouse Ranch Dressing

A great way to start your meal at Boatwright's Dining Hall is with the romaine salad. This fresh salad with asiago cheese and prosciutto is topped with their house dressing.

Boatwright's Dining Hall
1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp half-and-half
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp whole grain mustard
1/2 tsp Malt or Apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp dried tarragon leaves, crumbled
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper, or to taste
1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp liquid smoke
1/8 tsp dried dill weed
A pinch of cayenne pepper, or to taste
  1. In medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
  2. Chill, covered, until cold, about 30 minutes. 
  3. Use immediately or store, covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
