A great way to start your meal at Boatwright's Dining Hall is with the romaine salad. This fresh salad with asiago cheese and prosciutto is topped with their house dressing.

1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp half-and-half
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp whole grain mustard
1/2 tsp Malt or Apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp dried tarragon leaves, crumbled
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper, or to taste
1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp liquid smoke
1/8 tsp dried dill weed
A pinch of cayenne pepper, or to taste
- In medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
- Chill, covered, until cold, about 30 minutes.
- Use immediately or store, covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
