Mahi Mahi a la Veracruzana |
The Disney Parks Blog posted an article earlier this week. The restaurant isn't just changing it's menu but it's received new long tables with white tablecloths, flatware and china inspired by the original San Angel Inn in Mexico City.
All of the Mexico Pavilion restaurants are owned by Richard Debler, president of San Angel Inn, LLC. The Disney Parks Blog dined with Debler and Jens Dahlmann, Executive Chef at San Angel Inn. Debler explained that the restaurant is a work in progress and is drawing more on the original restaurant that has been owned for decades by his family.
Here are a few items you can look forward to seeing on the new menu:

Here are a few items you can look forward to seeing on the new menu:
- Lacoyos de Chilorio - Savory corn cakes topped with refried beans, pork, queso fresco, sour cream and green tomatillo sauce.
- Tacos de Filete - Grilled tenderloin on a flour tortilla with chipotle sauce, scallions and avocados.
- Mahi Mahi a la Veracruzana - Grilled Mahi Mahi fillet with olives, capers, bell peppers, tomatoes and Spanish onions over pobalano rice.
