Recipe: Hummus

Boma - Flavors of Africa offers this fresh and flavorful dip as one of it's buffet choice. Hummus, made of chickpeas, is very popular in Middle Eastern cultures. If you are looking for something to take to a party, this will sure be a hit.
Boma - Flavors of Africa
32 oz chickpeas, canned, drained and rinsed
5 tbsp Tahini, shake well
2 tbsp garlic, roasted
10 lemons, juiced
1 tsp garlic, fresh
Salt, to taste
Black pepper
  1. Place chickpeas in food processor, and puree.
  2. Add Tahini, garlic - fresh and roasted, and half the lemon juice. Blend.
  3. Add additional lemon, salt and pepper.
