Cooking Tip Tuesday: Lemon Curd

Lemon Curd
To keep lemon curd yellow and delicious, choose your saucepan wisely. Some saucepans will change the flavor, giving them a metallic taste and color. Saucepans made of plain aluminum or unlined copper react with the acid in the lemons causing this. To prevent this kitchen catastrophe use a stainless steel, enamel, or anodized aluminum saucepan.
