Cooking Tip Tuesday: Tea Ice Cubes

One of the best ways to keep you tea from getting diluted by water when making ice tea is to take some of the leftover tea and put it into an ice cube tray to freeze. Then the next time you go to make a glass of iced tea you'll have ice cubes that won't water down your drink. You can also do this with coffee or powdered drink mixes like Crystal Light. If you are making this for kids, try getting one of the ice cube trays that come in fun shapes. These are great for in the summer when you are drinking cold refreshing drinks more often.

  1. I love this- I freeze the icea tea cubes, and then add them to lemonade to make an Arnold Palmer; everyone gets a cold drink, and it's never diluted. Great tip! :DM
