Making Advanced Dining Reservations

Walt Disney World offers many dining opportunities from the theme parks to resorts to Downtown Disney. There are many restaurants that are table service, or sit down restaurants. One of the most important things to do when visiting Walt Disney World is to make your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs).

If you are looking to visit some of the most popular restaurants like Le Cellier, Character meals and those in which you can see night time shows with a fantastic view such as California Grill, 'Ohana, La Hacienda and Rose and Crown you'll want to make these reservations as early as possible.

How early can you book? You can book 180 days in advance. Now, if you are staying at a Disney Resort you can book your dining reservations at 180 days plus the next 9 days of your vacation. At this time you can only do the additional 10 days out if you are booking at the 180 day mark by calling Disney Dining. If you are already past 190 days then you can book all of your 10 days online.

To book your dining at Walt Disney World you can reserve by phone, just call 407-WDW-DINE. You'll go through some voice-activated prompts before being transfered to a dining agent. Also, you can book online by visiting http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining.

TIP: If you book through me at Magical Journeys I can help you plan out your dining reservations, answer any dining questions you have and can even book them for you.

  1. I love the online service! It is so quick and easy. Plus, I love that I can print out my reservations.

  2. I agree that it's nice to print them out. Which is great to have in case they can't find your name on the reservation list.

  3. I like using the online service, and the confirmation email that you get can be imported into the TripIt Ap to keep all of your plans in one place. The only thing I don't like is that to make changes (such as adding people or tweaking your time) you still need to call.
