Keeping Disney Magic Alive At Home Between Trips

For me this one is easy. I love food... like you didn't already know that. Well, for me it's simple to bring Disney into my home by making Disney dishes. I've posted many recipes on my site, as well as my Cooking with Mickey videos that can be found on my YouTube channel. Most of my videos are how-to-dos for making your favorite Disney recipes. I enjoy cooking from the Disney cookbooks and even putting my own twist on the recipes.

Also, I co-host WDW After Dark on the Sorcerer Radio Network with Jeff Davis and Aljon Go. On the show each week I not only get to contribute to the discussion, but on the show, which is a live video-cast, I make "The Disney Drink Special". I show you live how to make a drink that is usually from Disney, but if it's a holiday then it will follow the theme.

One last way that I bring Disney into my home is hidden Mickeys. Yes, that's right. I have hidden Mickeys set up throughout my house. Some people have even noticed the ones that I have in my kitchen. I think it's just a fun way to bring Disney magic into my home that will only get noticed by those who are true Disney fans.

  7. LOVE the Hidden Mickeys! I am going to start that this weekend. Maybe hiding them around my house periodically will help curb my desire to hit WDW every month...sigh. :)

  9. Thanks for all the great comments about the Hidden Mickeys! I have to say it happened by accident a few years ago. I was setting up some stuff and just happened to notice that it looked like a Mickey head and decided to start doing it throughout my house.
