Cooking Tip Tuesday: Cooking Small Vegetable Pieces

When cooking small vegetables like peas and corn kernels or small pieces that you've cut up like carrots, put them in a strainer and place in the pot of boiling water. This way it is easy to remove and you don't have to worry about straining them out when you are finished. It's a great time saver.
