Cooking Tip Tuesday: An Icy Tip For Crispy Iceberg Lettuce

Iceberg lettuce, like many vegetable will lose moisture and crispness. One way to restore the moisture to iceberg lettuce is to immerse the lettuce leaves in a bowl of ice water for 10 minutes or more. By doing this you will add back in that crispness that makes iceberg have its crunch. Feel free to give it a try with other vegetables that are high in water content like cucumbers.
