For those of you who are Disney Level 5ers, you live between the East and West Coast or you travel to both parks this is the pass for you. It was announced a couple of days ago that Disney has developed an Annual Pass that lets you visit ALL domestic parks, the Premier Passport.
This new pass wil not come cheap. It has a $700 price tag but gets you access to all US parks in addition to the Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Quest, ESPN Wide World of Sports and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course.
Here is the breakdown as it stands with the cost of APs at each of these locations. At Walt Disney World the Premium Annual Pass is $619 and Disneyland Premium Annual pass is $439 and totals $1058 + tax. So I guess if you are planning to do both parks this is a great discount for you. It might be even something to price if you are looking to travel to both parks in one year.
For those of you that are already a passholder to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland you will be sent new annual passes in the mail.
I have to say that I'm curious to see what kinds of perks and benefits are connected to these passes. Will it just be a combination of what each one already offers or will they add in a little something extra? Currently they say that the benefits are invitations to member only discounts and special events.
Also, I'm wondering if they are going to let those who have APs at either of the parks upgrade to them now and if so how will they figure the difference in price.
Thank you Bob Iger for giving those ultimate Disney fans what they've been wanting.
