Cooking Tip of the Day: Yogurt Instead of Sour Cream

Is part of your New Years resolution to eat healthy? Here is a little tip. Instead of using sour cream to make your dip for your veggies try using yogurt. It has a very similar taste and consistancy and is better for you.

Try this recipe:

Italian Dip
By Kristen Hoetzel

1 c. plain yogurt (Greek if you can find it)
2 cloves garlic
2 sprigs rosemary
2 springs of thyme (or any other herbs)
  1. Strip leaves off of herbs
  2. Smash garlic and remove skin
  3. Place yogurt, garlic and herbs in a food processor and blend until smooth
  4. Serve with fresh cut vegetables
Cook's Notes: I've also added in some feta cheese to make the dip a little more interesting.
Enjoy and Happy Eating!
