Recipe: Hot Cider

Hot Cider Recipe

4 c. apple cider
3 oz. bourbon or whiskey
2 oz. rum
4 tbs. softened butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

  1. In a sauce pan heat apple cider until hot, do not boil.
  2. Mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Once cider is hot add in bourbon/whiskey and rum.
  4. Pour 1 cup of cider into a mug and top off with mixture and serve.
