Cooking Tip of the Day: Buttercream Icing
If your buttercream icing is too thick use evaporated mile to thin and mix with an icing spatula.
If you have to make your buttercream icing in advance store it in an air tight container in your refrigerator. It helps to keep it fresh and from drying out.
When ready to use your stored buttercream let it warm to reoom temperature. That way you will be sure that it's the right consistancy before making any adjustments to the icing.
